Laguna

This work captures the vibrant and shifting essence of a Venetian horizon, transforming the fluidity of the water and the density of the air into a dense weave of tesserae that pay homage to the centuries-old lagoon tradition of mosaic art. Each tiny mark acts as a fragment of glass or stone, set with patience to reconstruct the depth of a landscape where the boundaries between elements blur and merge into a single, magnificent vision. The texture conveys a sense of suspended stillness and ancestral elegance, evoking the atmosphere of an intimate and secret Venice, where the material itself seems to breathe and vibrate with an ancient energy,
ready to welcome and reflect every nuance of light that passes through it.
